Job summary

Horizon Industries is seeking an Appian Architect for a full-time, remote position supporting our client the Foreign Military Sales (FMS). You will design and lead Appian solutions, partnering with clients and product owners to meet complex business needs.

This role requires 4–5 years of Appian leadership, strong integration experience, and experience in Agile environments. You will mentor developers, drive project delivery, and help grow our Appian practice within a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years leading Appian software development teams.
• Have previous experience with database and system integration.
• 8 to 10 years working on software development engagements (Appian preferred).
• Possess experience in an Agile environment.

Salary Range:There are various factors that are considered in determining finalpayfor a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications, and competencies that align with the specified role, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $160,000 - $180,000

Citizenship & Clearance: US Citizenship is required.

Certification : CompTIA Security+ certification is required by your first day of employment. Candidates who do not currently hold the certification may obtain it after the interview process but must have it completed before their start date.

What your day-to-day will look like / Duties:

What we would like to see on your resume/ Required Skills:

• Have a variety of technical expertise including process modeling, user interface design, and data modeling.
• Able to identify and evaluate new or alternate technologies to gill technical or functional gaps of the applications.
• Possess a higher level of experience in requirement discovery, BPM Best practices, and the design and build of BPM applications, and can lead a team in these activities.
• Can manage the finances of the assigned work area (client-facing or internal).
• Worked in a variety of industries and leveraged their diverse experience throughout project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Can assess how the created/updated Appian objects and pull requests fit into the bigger picture and spot major logic errors.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements across enterprise applications.
