Job Summary
Highly motivated individual who takes pride in aircraft and facility appearance, with strong attention to detail. A self‑starter, skilled at multitasking and prioritizing in order to safely and efficiently accomplish duties in a fast‑moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Work successfully in a team environment, offering and receiving directions to team members with grace.
- Remove all debris from aircraft, clean and restock all lavatories and galley.
- Clean facility restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot‑cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
- Set up, stock and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of all assigned areas.
- Wear PPE at all times.
- Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping.
- Notify station management of deficiencies or repairs required.
- Assist in cleaning customer lounges, facilities, back‑office, disinfecting high‑touch points, deep cleaning aircraft, exterior and interior cleans per JSX standards.
- Work both alone and in a team; collaborate with commissary crew members to ensure accurate FIFO restocking and an organized, compliant stock room.
- Maintain safety and security of the ramp at all times and comply with safety procedures and station policies.
- Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to customers.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned; responsibilities may change when circumstances dictate (emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, technical developments, etc.).
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or cleaning experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for operating ground support equipment.
- Articulate and polished both verbally and visually.
- Knowledge of computer systems such as Google Business and Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma preferred.
- 2 years of airline experience preferred.
- Basic requirements: read, write and speak English fluently.
- Willing to work overnight (3rd shift); 10% travel required.
- Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs and prolonged periods of standing; ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, middays, nights, overnight, weekends and holidays.
- Participate in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT and FAA guidelines.
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors for an extended amount of time during cold, wet or hot conditions.
Compensation
Starting compensation: $20.00.
