Job summary

Walmart Supercenter in LaPlace, LA is seeking an Apparel Associate to greet customers, assist with selections and recommend merchandise based on needs. You’ll help move incoming stock to the floor and keep clothing racks, tables and displays neat and organized throughout the day.

Full-time role with hourly pay between $19 and $32 plus premiums, and comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) and stock purchase, paid time off, and Walmart’s Live Better U education program.

• Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them, and recommend merchandise based on their wants and needs.
• Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and ensure clothing racks, tables, and displays remain neat and in order throughout the day.

Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Job Overview

Apparel associates greet customers on the salesfloor, offer them assistance and recommend merchandise based on the customer's wants and needs. After moving incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor, they ensure the clothing racks, tables and displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day.
