Job summary

Varsity Spirit is seeking a Fashion Sales Representative to cover the Northeast Alabama territory, working from a home office with travel to schools and events. You will build client relationships, provide tailored product solutions, and represent the Varsity Brands in a consultative sales environment.

You will develop product knowledge, support summer camp brands, and travel regionally to appointments, adapting to varying schedules and events while maintaining a strong focus on achieving sales

JOB TYPE: Full Time

LOCATION TYPE: This is an outside sales, hybrid position. Sales activity takes place across a home office, local schools, community events, and in-person meetings with clients.

TERRITORY DETAILS: Northeast Alabama (DeKalb and Cherokee counties, plus portions of Marshall and Etowah counties)

WORK HOURS: Hours vary based on customer needs. Evening and weekend work may be required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is primarily local to schools and organizations within the territory, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required.

What You Will Do

• Conduct consults and fittings with coaches and their athletes

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to grasp new technology and understanding of Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of cheer and dance industry
• Willingness to learn in-depth product construction, technicalities and pricing
• Cultivate an in-home office that is distraction-free
• Ensure reliable travel for regular face-to-face touch points
• Organization and follow throughPersonal Effectiveness/Credibility
• Ability to generate leads, forecast sales cycle, anticipate problems, and create effective solutions, with an aspiration to meet and exceed sales goals
• In depth learning & career advancement

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business education or related field preferred
• Industry Experience preferred
• Experience in an administrative support role for at least 2 years.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, kneeling walking and driving will all occur on a regular basis. Must be able to lift 15-30 pounds.
