Job summary

Tailored Brands in New York, NY seeks a Product & Costing Associate to translate design concepts into production specs, manage fabric, trim, and garment development, and coordinate with global sourcing offices. The role requires a passionate, highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead cross-functional development meetings, create and manage bulk production tech packs in PLM, and monitor approvals to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in related field.
• Two or more years of relevant work experience in apparel.
• General knowledge of men’s fashion, textile and apparel design principles.
• Experience with PLM software strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and creative environment with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to cross-functional time and action calendar.
• Manage development requests from design teams.
• Initiate and track fabric, trim, and garment development.
• Communicate daily with factories and mills regarding style and production.
• Create and manage bulk production style tech packs in PLM.
• Manage bulk submission approvals against standards.
• Process samples and document in system.
• Work with production post adoption to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead weekly development meetings.
• Develop subject matter expertise on the product.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to support business.
• Develop product knowledge over time.
