Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking a store team member to help hang, sort, and display clothing while supporting training and community programs. The role involves hanging pre-sorted clothing to meet daily quotas, rotating items by color tag, moving displays, counting items processed, and reporting safety concerns.

Qualifications

• No experience required; emphasis on work ethic and detail orientation.
• Team-oriented approach with pride in a clean, organized workspace.
• Physically able to stand, hang clothes, and move racks.
• Reliable, honest, and respectful of others.
• Willing to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team.
• Regularly lifting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Hang pre-sorted clothing to meet daily production quotas.
• Group and rotate clothing correctly using color tag system.
• Move clothing to and from the sales floor; keep displays neat.
• Accurately count and report items processed daily.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by store procedures.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Assist with donation processing, sorting, or cashiering.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by store management.
