Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk in Ohio to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers. You will move groceries from pallets to shelves, maintain back-room areas, and collaborate with leadership to meet daily targets.

You will work overnight shifts, enjoy family-friendly benefits, and be part of a team focused on accurate stocking and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Team collaboration and reliable attendance.
• Able to follow store processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with basic technology and checkout/stock systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

What You Bring

You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
