Compensation is based on Years of Experience, and ranges from $166K-$185K as a 1.0 FTE.

Position Summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider for the Mary Bridge Orthopedic clinic. This role involves evaluating patients for pediatric orthopedic conditions, interpreting lab and other test results, and guiding families through treatment options.

Responsibilities
  • Sees patients independently in the ambulatory care setting: conducts physical exams, provides individual care plans, and performs diagnostic assessment including ordering imaging and other diagnostic studies.
  • Assists in the operating room in both inpatient and ambulatory surgery center settings.
  • Collaborates with Mary Bridge Inpatient Provider Services to manage patients admitted to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.
  • Supports Mary Bridge Emergency Department call and emergency surgeries.
  • Supports outpatient clinic call.
  • Interprets lab and test results, providing clinical recommendations and supportive guidance.
  • Educates patients on disease processes and treatment plans.
  • Collaborates with physicians, nursing, and other multidisciplinary team members.
  • Manages patients' treatments and medication management.
  • Stays up to date on advancements in relevant specialties.
  • Partners with local, state, and national programs as necessary.
  • Participates in specialized treatment plans and specialized clinics.
Requirements
  • Washington State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Two years of experience as a licensed ARNP/PA in pediatric healthcare preferred.
  • Experience in Pediatric Orthopedics preferred.
  • Licensure to practice in Washington State.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $166,275.00 - $185,098.00 USD. Pay is influenced by individual skill set, level of experience, and certifications and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale.
