Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an NP/PA to join the Colon & Rectal Surgery team, providing direct medical care across inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will collaborate with faculty, fellows, residents, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree from an accredited NP/PA program with 0–1 years of related clinical experience. Some off-hours, weekends, and on-call coverage are required. Vaccination policies apply.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care: conduct history & physical exams, formulate care plans, order/interpret diagnostic tests, and manage direct patient care (including opioid management).
• Care Coordination: act as a central liaison between visiting nurses, clinical staff, and consult services to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Collaboration & Education: educate patients/families, serve as a clinical resource for staff, and partner with attending surgeons on complex cases.
• Documentation: clear, timely, and precise charting of all clinical encounters.

Role Overview:

Join our Colon & Rectal Surgery team providing direct physical diagnosis and therapeutic care for patients with complex conditions across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with faculty, fellows, residents, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive, patient-centered care. This is an ideal opportunity for both early-career and experienced APPs (0–1+ years of experience required).

Pay Range:

$133,120.00 USD - $215,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
