Job summary

Summit Spine & Joint Centers in Savannah, GA is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Interventional Pain Management team. This full-time role supports patients, collaborates with experienced physicians, and aims to restore function and quality of life.

Ideal candidates have Georgia NP/PA licensure, current BLS/ACLS, and strong clinical skills. Prior pain management experience is a plus; eClinicalWorks experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license as NP or PA in Georgia.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Experience in pain management or related specialties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage follow-up patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and overall wellness.
• Accurately document patient encounters using eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll work alongside our physicians to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals living with acute and chronic pain.

• Evaluate and manage follow-up patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and overall wellness
• Accurately document patient encounters using eClinicalWorks
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, family medicine, or a related specialty preferred
• Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus
