Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group in Langhorne, PA, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant/CRNP 1st Assist to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team at St. Mary Medical Center.

The APP will provide perioperative care, scrub in on cardiothoracic OR cases as a first assistant, perform vein graft harvests, rounds in the CICU, and assist with discharge planning under the supervision of Cardiothoracic Surgeons.

Qualifications

• PA from an accredited program.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania licensure/DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care as a Physician Assistant/CRNP 1st Assist.
• Scrub in on cardiothoracic OR cases as first assistant.
• Harvest vein grafts when needed.
• Perform cardiothoracic consults and rounds in CICU.
• Assist physicians with discharge planning and with call as required.

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant/CRNP 1st Assistto join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative Cardiothoracic surgery practice committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The APP will work closely with physicians, clinical staff, and other members of the care team to evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of Cardiothoracic conditions.

Practice Highlights?

• Carries out Physician Assistant/NP duties as defined by the Cardiothoracic Surgeon(s)
• Scrubs in on cardiothoracic OR cases and demonstrates a proactive approach in preparation for each procedure
• Functions as a first assistant in surgery
• Able to harvest vein grafts
• Provides cardiothoracic consultative services in the hospital
• Rounds on patients regularly in the CICU
• Performs discharge planning function and discharges patients under the direction and supervision of a Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• Assist physicians with call as needed

Schedule & Call?

Full-time, call 10 days a month low call back. 1 weekend a month rounding. All call comes with additional compensation
