Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL is seeking a Family, Urgent or Emergency Medicine APP to join a busy urgent care practice with a growing patient base and a mix of APPs and physicians. A typical shift is twelve hours, three days a week, with opportunities to work extra shifts for additional pay.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or PA studies.
• Current Illinois NP/PA license.
• Certification by ANCC or NCCPA.
• Minimum of two years of APP experience in urgent care or related field.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide family, urgent or emergency medicine care in an urgent care setting.
• Work twelve-hour shifts, three times per week, with options for extra shifts.
• No call, no afterhours, and no follow-up required.

Expected pay for this position is $60.39 - $68.10/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

JOB SPECIFICS

• Busy urgent care practice seeks a Family, Urgent or Emergency Medicine APP to serve our well-established practice with a growing patient base.
• Practice model includes a combination of APP’s and physicians.
• A typical shift would be twelve hours, three times a week. There are also opportunities to work extra shifts for additional pay if desired.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
  • Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in urgent care or a related field is preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
