Job summary

AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute in Egg Harbor Township, NJ is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Medical Oncology/Hematology team. The APN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across hematology and solid tumor diagnoses in a collaborative clinic setting.

The role emphasizes evaluation, treatment planning, symptom management, patient education and care coordination with a multidisciplinary team. Oncology experience is preferred and NJ APN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current or eligible New Jersey APN licensure.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Strong interest in hematology/oncology and patient-centered care.
• Strong clinical, communication and collaboration skills.
• Experienced APNs or candidates with oncology training considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with oncology team.
• Monitor patients and manage treatment-related symptoms and side effects.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Coordinate care with nurses, pharmacists, social workers, dietitians, genetic counselors and other care team members.
• Participate in collaborative comprehensive cancer care.
• Access to a broad range of cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hematologic treatments.
