Job summary

Global Professional Services Organization in Dallas / San Antonio is seeking a hands-on Google Apigee Migration Engineer to migrate and develop APIs onto Apigee, configure security policies, and implement CI/CD in a hybrid client environment.

The role demands extensive experience with Apigee, GCP, REST, OAuth/JWT, and production deployment. Onsite presence two days per week is required, with W2 contract-to-hire employment for a transportation client.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Apigee engineering and development experience.
• REST API development and troubleshooting capability.
• Experience with OAuth and JWT implementation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of GCP and CI/CD to support API migration and deployment.
• Comfortable operating in a client-facing delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Migrate APIs to Google Apigee and develop proxies, policies, and configurations.
• Configure security policies and troubleshoot authentication and authorization.
• Support CI/CD for API deployment across environments and ensure repeatable deployments.
• Stabilize migrated APIs and assist production readiness with cross-team collaboration.
• Explore AI/automation opportunities to improve migration speed and quality.
