Job summary

Responsibilities include building reusable policies, optimizing performance, monitoring security, documenting APIs, and guiding lifecycle management from versioning to retirement, leveraging Sumologic, Jenkins, and Bitbucket in a CI/CD-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of API development and management, preferably with Apigee Edge or ApigeeX.
• Proficiency with RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Strong understanding of API security protocols (OAuth, JWT, TLS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman and monitoring tools like Sumologic.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API proxies and policies using Apigee.
• Implement reusable shared flows for security, transformation, logging, and error handling
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to integrate APIs with enterprise applications.
• Monitor and enhance API performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues across environments.
• Create and maintain API documentation and developer support materials
• Manage the full lifecycle of APIs including versioning, deprecation, and retirement.
• Utilize analytics to generate actionable insights and optimize API usage
