Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to support GMP-compliant production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in a lab-based setting. Responsibilities include equipment cleaning, setup, and verification tasks, while maintaining safety and quality in a cGMP environment.

The role requires adherence to 21 CFR codes, ISO standards, and teamwork in a multi-shift production setting, with long-hour night shifts and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Read and understand written protocols.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Email, etc.) and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• High degree of motivation and self-starter attitude.
• Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMP requirements per 21 CFR parts 210 & 211, 820, ICH Q7, and ISO 14001 & 45001.
• Manufacture APIs and intermediates under cGMP; equipment cleaning and setup.
• Maintain safety and quality of the production environment.
• Verify and complete tasks during GMP manufacturing.
• Communicate production status using shift pass-off tools and computer systems.
• Address safety and process issues identified during inspections and audits.
• Collaborate across multi-shift manufacturing and support leadership.
