Eliassen Group is seeking an API Developer III to design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations across a broad digital ecosystem.

The role will leverage Microsoft Azure services such as API Management, Application Gateway, and Logic Apps, plus C# .NET API applications, to deliver secure, scalable integrations across platforms including Salesforce, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Commerce, Paycom, BlackLine, Jira, and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of development experience with languages such as C#.
• 4+ years of API development and system integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations using Azure APIM, Logic Apps, and Application Gateway.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers and promote API design best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Plan and schedule API development work with Project Managers and Scrum Masters.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, integration workflows, and development standards.
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance with information security and senior developers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments; implement CI/CD and automated testing.
• Partner with QA to validate new development and create UAT testing plans.
• Build a reusable API library with Applications and Data teams to reduce point-to-point solutions.

Our client seeks an API Developer III to design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations that support a broad digital ecosystem. The role will leverage Microsoft Azure services such as API Management, Application Gateway, and Logic Apps, plus C# .NET API applications, to deliver secure, scalable integrations across platforms including Salesforce, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Commerce, Paycom, BlackLine, Jira, and ServiceNow. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, contribute to reusable API assets, participate in planning with project leadership, and uphold security, performance, and documentation standards.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with languages such as C#.
• 4+ years of API development and system integration experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure integration services.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET for API development.
• Understanding of Azure APIM, Logic Apps, and Application Gateway.
• Experience with RESTful, SOAP, Streaming, and Bulk APIs with security best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines; experience with Jira, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
