Job summary

PradeepIT is seeking an Automation Test Engineer for offshore banking projects. You will implement and maintain test automation using Java, Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber, while validating APIs with Postman, SoapUI and Rest Assured.

Strong communication and Agile collaboration are essential. You will participate in daily scrums, create and execute regression suites, and review test results with project teams and clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Test Automation experience with strong communication.
• Hands-on in Java, Web & API testing with Selenium and Cucumber (BDD).
• Experience with API testing tools Postman/SoapUI and Rest Assured preferred.
• Comfort in Agile environments and continuous integration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to define automation strategy and test coverage.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java and Maven.
• Execute regression suites and report results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate in daily scrums and sprint planning; participate in client calls.
• Enhance framework functions and provide test summary reports.

Automation Test Engineer - Offshore - Banking

• 3+ years of Test Automation experience with good communication
• Good hands-on experience in Java, WEB & API, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD) framework
• Good hands-on experience on API testing using Postman/SoapUI - Preferably knowledge on Rest Assured framework for API.
• Experience on working in Agile model
• Good to have Jmeter knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing business requirement in order to determine the test strategy covered by automation testing
• Developing new test scripts are roles and responsibilities of selenium automation test engineer
• Maintaining existing tests scripts/regression suites
• Attending Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/Sprint planning/Backlog refinement) on assigned projects
• Executing regression suites
• Providing results to project managers/developers/manual testers and stakeholders
