Avalore is seeking an API Architect to define and manage APIs and standards for the WDP System in the United States. The role emphasizes interoperability, governance, and collaboration with security teams to maintain secure, scalable APIs across components and external systems.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree, US work authorization, and relevant certifications for junior to senior levels. Expect involvement in API lifecycle processes, developer documentation, and ongoing evaluation of

Qualifications

• Security clearance and related certifications required for respective levels.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, maintain, and promulgate APIs and technical standards for the WDP System.
• Design API specifications using industry-standard formats and establish governance for API lifecycle management.
• Create developer documentation and examples to facilitate API adoption and monitor usage/performance metrics.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure API security and support versioning strategies for backward compatibility.
