Job summary

HMT LLC is seeking an API 653 certified Inspector to perform inspections in accordance with API standards and client scope. The role requires interpreting regulations and maintaining a positive relationship between the client, facility, and customer, while adhering to HMT safety policies.

Inspections will be conducted on-site at various client locations within the Richmond, VA area, requiring strong technical knowledge of current inspection codes and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold API 653 Certification and have API 653 Inspection work experience.
• Must be technically competent and knowledgeable in the application of the current inspection codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform API 653 inspections per customer’s scope of work and HMT’s internal process and procedures
• Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer
• Properly interpret regulations, codes and industry standards
• Ensure that all HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed
