Job summary

HMT is seeking an API 653 certified Inspector to perform inspections in line with API standards and HMT procedures. The role requires interpreting regulations and maintaining strong relationships with clients and facilities to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

The Inspector will apply current inspection codes, uphold safety policies, and contribute to project success by ensuring thorough, accurate inspections and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must hold API 653 Certification and have API 653 Inspection work experience.
• Must be technically competent and knowledgeable in the application of the current inspection codes.
• Preferred: NDE Certifications (MFL, UT, MT, PT).

Responsibilities

• Perform API 653 inspections per customer’s scope of work and HMT’s internal process and procedures.
• Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer.
• Properly interpret regulations, codes and industry standards.
• Ensure that all HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed.
