Job summary

A leading tank solutions provider is seeking an API 570 certified Inspector. The role involves performing inspections in accordance with API standards, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety policies. Candidates must hold the API 570 Certification and have experience in inspections. Additional certifications like a TWIC Card and safety training are preferred. HMT has a need for an API 570 certified Inspector to assist with performing inspections in accordance with API standards:

  • Perform API 570 inspections per customer’s scope of work and HMT’s internal process and procedures
  • Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer
  • Properly interpret regulations, codes and industry standards
  • Ensure that all HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed
Required Qualifications
  • Must hold API 570 Certification and have API 570 Inspection work experience.
  • Must be technically competent and knowledgeable in the application of the current inspection codes.
  • Must be capable of directing an UTT Technician to complete In-service and Out-of-Service inspections.
Preferred additional certifications
  • TWIC Card
  • JLG lift operator certification (may or may not be approved by HMT Safety Dept.)
  • Current safety training (within the last 12 months) to include but not limited to confined space, fall protection, LOTO, HazCom, etc.
