Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant units for market with timely repairs and make-ready tasks at a Nashville property. You will caulk, seal, inspect sheetrock, perform touch-up painting, and assist with grounds maintenance while supporting cost-control efforts and safety policies.

The role requires a flexible schedule including on-call evenings and weekends, with compensation in the $21.00–$23.00 per hour range and comprehensive benefits for full-time

Qualifications

• Experience performing repairs and make-ready tasks in residential properties.
• Ability to caulk, seal, and prep units for move-in.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and OSHA-related practices.

Responsibilities

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in using the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Ensures units are caulked and sealed around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and performs repairs or replacements as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by supervision.
• Maintains grounds and common areas and assists with painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
• Completes make-ready checklists and maintenance documentation in a timely manner.
• Follows safety policies, attends safety meetings, and reports incidents promptly.
• Provides responsive customer service, addressing resident questions and complaints about maintenance.
