Job summary

Adara Communities is hiring an Apartment Make Ready Technician in Addison, TX. The role focuses on preparing and restoring vacant apartments for new move-ins, with basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance skills.

You will inspect locks, weather stripping, and perform painting, caulking, drywall work, and occasional grounds upkeep. A valid driver’s license, basic hand tools, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Prior apartment make ready experience required.
• Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and construction repair abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and restore vacant apartments for new resident move-ins.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance and repairs.
• Repair or service items such as sinks, showers, appliances, cabinets, doors, and fixtures.
• Inspect locks, keys, and weather stripping; re-key or repair as needed.
• Complete interior and exterior painting and caulking.
• Perform light drywall repairs including patching, texturing, sanding and finishing.
• Assist with grounds upkeep including trash pickup, blowing breezeways, pressure washing, and maintaining clean common areas.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure timely unit turn completion.
