Independent Management Services is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to support our multifamily properties in Pontiac, MI. The role covers tenant service requests, preventive maintenance, vacancy rehabs, and grounds upkeep on a fast-paced, customer-service oriented team.

You will perform after-hours on-call duties, manage basic repairs, and help ensure a clean, well-maintained community while delivering reliable service to residents.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented requirement.
• Working knowledge of basic maintenance concepts (plumbing, repairs).
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Recondition vacant units including painting, basic repairs and cleaning.
• Maintain property grounds and cleanliness.
• Perform after-hours, weekend and holiday on-call duties in rotation.
