Job summary

The Breeden Company is seeking a Full Time Manual Labor role at Eagle Harbor Apartments in Carrollton, VA. Responsibilities cover maintenance, preventative care, and grounds upkeep to meet safety and appearance standards.

You will handle apartment turns, respond to resident requests, and participate in an ongoing maintenance plan while upholding company policies and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as an Apartment Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• HVAC or CMRP certification is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Dexterity and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Available to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company’s operating and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain the physical condition of the community and respond to work orders.
• Follow 24-hour on-call rotation and complete work orders within 48 hours.
• Inspect make-ready apartments for move-in quality.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Participate in asset management of apartments, exteriors and grounds.
• Maintain communication with residents, team members, and vendors.
