Job summary

AMLI Lindbergh in Atlanta, GA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities. The role covers HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair and general maintenance to keep residents comfortable and homes well maintained.

Responsibilities include completing HVAC service and preventative maintenance, making-ready vacated apartments, responding to service requests, participating in on-call rotations, and maintaining tools and inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance or HVAC service.
• EPA Section 608 Certification or Type 1 and 2 required.
• Experience with HVAC systems, AC repair, refrigerant handling, and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete basic to intermediate HVAC repairs independently.
• Availability for on-call and weekend rotation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and advanced maintenance repairs, including HVAC troubleshooting, AC repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Complete HVAC service, preventative maintenance, and system diagnostics, ensuring optimal performance and resident comfort.
• Ensure vacated apartments are restored to make-ready condition with strong attention to detail.
• Respond promptly to service requests, including air conditioning and HVAC-related issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (evenings/weekends as needed).
• Conduct inspections and assist with preventative maintenance, including HVAC systems, pool care, exterior lighting, and filters.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly manage tools, equipment, and inventory.
