Job summary

Grubb Properties is seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician for Link Apartments Mint Street. Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep to prepare apartments for occupancy, while maintaining a safe, well-kept community.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and a willingness to obtain a Certified Pool Operator license. Strong resident relations and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of heat pump, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry.
• HVAC certification required; must obtain Certified Pool Operator license or hold one.
• Pleasing personality and ability to work with residents.
• Good mechanical, organizational skills and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, roofs, gutters, and recreational facilities.
• Assist with turning vacant apartments into make-ready units and oversee inspections.
• Leave a written explanation of work performed in each unit for residents.
• Ensure a clean, safe, well-maintained community and positive resident relations.
• Assist with pool operations and maintaining proper chemical levels as required.
• Complete all work orders within 24 hours; participate in on-call duties.
• Follow safety directives and company policies; coordinate with maintenance supervisor.
