Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Wixom, MI. You will maintain a multi-family apartment community, address work orders, and ensure residents have a safe, well-functioning living environment.

The role requires EPA certification, HVAC experience, and the ability to perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. We offer training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred.
• EPA certification is required (obtain within 120 days of start via company training).
• HVAC experience is strongly preferred.
• CPO Certification and pool maintenance skills are preferred.
• Ability to shovel snow and clear ice during snow season.
• Maintain professional appearance and dress code.

Responsibilities

• Overall maintenance of the apartment community and day-to-day operations.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders to company standards.
• Perform plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, shut offs, sink replacements, faucet installations, and disposal installations.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, furnace, water heater, boiler issues; diagnose appliance repairs.
• Deliver carpentry work: doors, jambs, drywall, caulking, trim, and tile work.
• Perform electrical repairs: switches, outlets, lighting.
• Monitor inventory of commonly used parts and restock as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
