Job summary

BG Staffing is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Scottsboro, AL. Compensation is $19/hr with a M-F 8-5 schedule and a contract start date ASAP. This role offers weekly pay, medical and dental benefits, and career growth opportunities.

The technician will perform apartment maintenance tasks, basic plumbing and electrical work, unit turnover, appliance repairs, and grounds upkeep. Prior apartment maintenance or renovation experience is preferred, with own basic tools and reliable

• Previous apartment maintenance, construction, or renovation experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Own basic hand tools (power tools preferred).
• Reliable transportation and attendance.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment service requests independently.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Complete unit turns, including drywall, painting, and minor renovations.
• Repair appliances, fixtures, and locks.
• Assist with grounds and property upkeep.
