Job summary

Lancaster Campus is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across our property. You will troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and handle unit turnovers with care.

You must have a high school diploma, HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong diagnostic and customer service skills. This role requires attention to safety and quality in every task and the ability to respond promptly to resident requests.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer service requests promptly as assigned.
• Complete daily rounds and inspect equipment, facilities, and safety concerns.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC and heating systems.
• Prep/turn of vacant units/suites.
• Clean grounds and common areas.
• Perform light carpentry work.
• Repair drywall and finish work.
• Touch up painting as needed.
• On-call after hours as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
• Address life-safety issues (fire alarms, hazards) immediately.

Responsibilities

The Apartment Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for assisting in the proper physical and mechanical upkeep of the property.

• Fulfill customer service requests promptly as assigned
• Complete daily rounds and check mechanical equipment, recreational facilities and any other functional or safety concerns
• Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and heating system repairs
• Prep/turn of vacant units/suites
• Pick up/clean grounds and common areas
• Light carpentry work
• Drywall repairs and finish work
• Touch up painting
• Take after hours “on call” duties as assigned
• General cleanliness and upkeep of interior and exterior of the property
• Immediate attention to areas posing risks to life safety of residents and customers (fire alarms, trip hazards, etc.)
