Job summary

Fath Properties LLC on Queen City Avenue in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an Apartment Maintenance technician to service Aspen Village, a 922-unit community. The role requires multi-skilled maintenance, and candidates must diagnose basic problems including appliance, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

A $1,000 signing bonus is offered. HVAC certification is preferred but not required, and company-paid license training is available.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled in maintenance capable of performing occupied residential repairs.
• Able to diagnose basic problems at the property including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
• Willing to obtain HVAC license (company paid).
• Reliability with transportation and a valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs at Aspen Village.
• Answer on-call duties after proper training.
• Report to Community Manager.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Job description

Fath Properties is seeking candidates to fill an Apartment Maintenance position at our property, Aspen Village, a 922-unit property, located on Queen City Avenue in Cincinnati, OH. We are offering a $1,000 signing bonus!

We need candidates who are Multi Skilled in Maintenance, capable of performing occupied residential repairs. They must have the ability to diagnose basic problems at the property including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

HVAC certification preferred but not required.

Additional skills we are looking for more in candidates, include the following:

• appliance repair and replacement
• plumbing repairs, electrical repairs
• lighting replacement
• hardware replacement
• painting and drywall repairs as needed

This position reports directly to Community Manager.

Perform on- call duties- once properly trained.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School
• HVAC certification preferred OR willing to obtain license (company paid)
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• Leadership skills a plus
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Physical requirements: Able to lift 75 lbs. Able to climb ladders and steps. Applicants must be able to operate power equipment such as saws, drills. Must be able to operate door locks.
