Job summary

InterSolutions is seeking a dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our Irving, TX team and support multi-family properties. You will handle service requests, prepare units for turnover, and maintain common areas with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

You should be comfortable with electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and basic HVAC knowledge. A strong work ethic, reliable communication, and ability to work weekends are valued traits for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance repair across multiple areas.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by managing turnover.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and debris-free.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Repair fixtures (toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals) and caulking.
• Paint and drywall work as required.
• Clear drains and sewer lines (up to 4').
