Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks and repairs in apartments and community buildings. You will ensure facilities are tidy, functional, and safe.

A successful candidate will have hands-on experience in basic plumbing and electrical systems, and a reliable, detail-oriented work ethic. HVAC certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Perform general maintenance and repairs of apartments and community buildings.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
• Replace fill valves, wax rings, flush valves on toilets, replace bath and kitchen faucets
• Install appliances and equipment
• Replace lightbulbs, defective switches and outlets, install light fixtures and ceiling fans
• Repair drywall and texture, determine paint sheens and perform full house paint out
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
• HVAC certification preferred but not required
