Job summary

AIR Communities is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for Flats 8300 in Bethesda, Maryland. In this leadership role, you'll oversee all maintenance operations for the community, including team leadership, preventative maintenance, vendor management, apartment turns, resident service requests, compliance, and budget performance.

You will lead a maintenance team, manage vendor relationships, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive capital projects to improve resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property maintenance or facilities management experience.
• 1-3 years of team leadership experience in maintenance and customer service environments
• Reliable transportation
• Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and building systems
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, on-call weekly)
• Ability to safely move heavy equipment and machinery
• English reading, writing, and speaking ability

AIR Communities is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for Flats 8300 in Bethesda, Maryland.

In this leadership role, you'll oversee all maintenance operations for the community, including team leadership, preventative maintenance, vendor management, apartment turns, resident service requests, compliance, and budget performance. What We Offer

• Expected pay rate of$77,000 - $85,000 annual salary +15% target bonus opportunity.You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

What You Will Do

What You Have

• 3+ years of property maintenance or facilities management experience, including experience overseeing building systems, preventative maintenance programs, and service operations.
• 1-3 years of team leadership experience in maintenance and customer service environments
• Reliable transportation
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts (at least one week per month)
• Ability to safely move heavy equipment and machinery
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
