Civitas Senior Living in Tyler, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and support a safe, vibrant living environment for residents. You will work with the Maintenance Director on daily upkeep, repairs, and service coordination.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of maintenance experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety and resident-centered service. HVAC/plumbing/electrical certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in multifamily housing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Emergency response: stay calm and act quickly in emergencies.
• Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related areas are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facility management: daily walkthroughs, identify malfunctions and repair.
• Provide skilled maintenance to service requests with quality workmanship.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Manage parts expenses and review costs before purchases with Maintenance Director.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance following schedules and protocols.
• Maintain records and necessary paperwork accurately.
• Deliver empathetic, responsive service to residents.
• Comply with safety standards and handle chemicals safely.

Maintenance Technician Job Profile

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements
