AIR Communities in Orlando, FL is hiring a Maintenance Technician to work on-site at our apartment community. You will help turn units and respond to service requests, providing residents with reliable, friendly maintenance support.

We use modern technology to prioritize tasks and offer a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for career growth. The role requires at least two years in maintenance and proficiency in two trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environment.
• Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day weeks (seasonal) and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
• Reliable transportation to respond to emergency service requests after hours.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assistance to team members.
• Follow AIR’s process for completion of basic apartment turns to ready the next resident’s move-in.
• With general direction, complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance (troubleshoot/repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• May provide direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians and support skill development.
• May assist with managing vendor quality and conduct move-in/move-out inspections.

What You Will Do
