Job summary

Colorado State University’s Asian Pacific American Cultural Center (APACC) seeks a visionary Director to lead strategic programming, staff supervision, and partnerships that advance student success and cultural education across CSU.

You will oversee budgeting and operations, design culturally responsive initiatives for APIDA and SWANA communities, engage campus partners, and represent APACC at state and national levels.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (Student Affairs, Sociology, Ethnic Studies, etc.).
• Four years of professional, full-time leadership experience in higher education.
• Ability to articulate needs of APIDA/SWANA and related communities.
• Experience with student success initiatives, program evaluation, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for APACC in alignment with CSU missions.
• Lead, supervise, and evaluate staff, graduate assistants, interns, and student employees.
• Develop and assess culturally responsive student success initiatives and events.
• Oversee budgeting, fiscal management, policy development, and fundraising.
• Cultivate partnerships with campus departments, communities, alumni, and external stakeholders.
• Represent APACC at internal and external forums and contribute to divisional leadership.
