Job summary

C2 Education is seeking a part-time tutor to provide high-quality instruction after school, Monday–Thursday 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m.

– 5:00 p.m., at locations in Connecticut. You will follow the company curriculum, assess student progress, and communicate with parents to support academic growth. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or higher, at least two years of teaching experience, and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Experience developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide feedback to students and guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
