Job summary

C2 Educational Systems Inc. is seeking a part-time instructor in Sterling, VA to deliver engaging lessons aligned with our curriculum and educational philosophy.

The role requires a completed Bachelor's degree or higher, eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, and a track record of effective teaching. Sessions are after school Mon–Thu 1:00–9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; hours may vary by location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Experience developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Experience using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet needs of all learners.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality, part-time instruction to students, following C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. This role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student academic growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule

Sessions are conducted after school hours to accommodate students and are typically Monday – Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Each location may vary.
