Job summary

Pacific Pathology Associates, Inc., a Sonic Healthcare USA partner, is seeking a full-time AP/CP Surgical Pathologist to join a collegial, multi-specialty practice in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Based in a cancer center–affiliated medical center, the role offers a diverse case mix and collaborative pathology practice.

The candidate should have board-certified/eligible AP/CP, strong surgical pathology skills, and be eligible for Oregon licensure. Fellowship is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO; eligible for Oregon medical licensure.
• Board certified/eligible in AP/CP.
• Strong surgical pathology diagnostic skills.
• Fellowship training preferred (not required).
• Special consideration: Breast, GYN, Hematopathology (bone marrow) or GI.
• Open to experienced pathologists and recent graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide AP/CP surgical pathology and cytopathology diagnoses in a high-volume setting.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty team across hospitals and labs.
• Participate in quality assurance, education, and laboratory leadership opportunities.
