Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an AP/CP Pathologist for a thriving academic healthcare system in the Chicago area. The incoming specialist will manage a balanced mix of anatomic and clinical pathology cases, with opportunities for sub-specialization in breast pathology if desired.

The practice includes collaboration with three experienced pathologists and a supportive staff in a well-established shared environment. The role offers a flexible weekday schedule from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM, light call

Qualifications

• Balanced mix of anatomic and clinical pathology
• Collaboration with three experienced pathologists
• Opportunity for sub-specialization in breast pathology
• No autopsy cases handled on-site (downtown location handles autopsies)

Responsibilities

• Manage a balanced mix of anatomic and clinical pathology cases (surgical pathology, cytopathology, frozen sections)
• Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with multiple specialties across the network
• Support sub-specialization in breast pathology if desired
