Job summary

Yosemite Pathology Medical Group in Modesto, California, is seeking a Board‑Certified AP/CP Pathologist to join our collaborative, physician‑owned practice. You will participate in surgical and cytology cases, deliver timely diagnoses, and contribute to a team‑based, patient‑centered pathology service.

The ideal candidate holds an active California medical license (or eligibility), fellowship in surgical pathology subspecialties is desirable, and 2–4 years of practice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) is required.
• Active California medical license (or eligibility) is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a practice setting is a plus.
• Fellowship training in surgical pathology subspecialties is highly desirable.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation and communicate the medical significance of laboratory findings to referring physicians.
• Deliver accurate, timely evaluations and diagnoses across a diverse range of anatomic pathology specimens.
• Actively engage in a collaborative, team‑based approach to patient care.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of pathology services while maintaining a collegial workplace culture.
