Job summary

cFocus Software seeks a Digital Forensics Analyst to join our AOUSC program in Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires an Active Public Trust clearance and strong forensics expertise to analyze disks, memory, and registry artifacts using industry tools.

You will work within federal guidelines and contribute to evidence handling, file system artifact investigations, and secure incident response as part of a government customer program.

Qualifications

• Active Public Trust clearance is required.
• B.S. in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Three years of digital forensics experience.
• Expertise in disk, memory and registry analysis using industry standard tools (Axiom, EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Volatility).
• Strong understanding of file systems and OS artifacts including SRUM, Shellbags and Prefetch, with familiarity with federal evidence guidelines and chain of custody requirements.

cFocus Software seeks a Digital Forensics Analyst to join our program supporting the Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC). This position is Hybrid with the onsite location being in Washington, DC. This position requires a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Public Trust clearance
• B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Three (3) years of experience in digital forensics.
• Expertise in disk, memory and registry analysis using industry standard tools such as Axiom, EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Volatility.
• Strong understanding of file systems and Operating System artifacts including (SRUM, Shellbags and Prefetch). Familiarity with federal evidence guidelines and chain of custody requirements.
