Job summary

Center Point, Inc. seeks an AOD/SUD-certified counselor to join our team in Rancho Cordova. You will conduct screenings, assessments, and provide individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans and maintaining client records in line with regulations.

The role focuses on probation respondents, relapse prevention, aftercare, and client-centered case management, with 8:00 AM–4:30 PM weekday hours and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be certified by a State of California Accredited Certifying Board or hold a applicable professional license.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment required.
• Knowledge of DHCS requirements for AOD programs.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to adults on probation with substance use challenges.
• Manage caseload with accurate intake, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge records.
• Deliver individual and group counseling, case management, relapse prevention, and continuing care.
• Collaborate with probation staff and service providers to support treatment goals.
• Perform additional duties to support program operations and client care.
