Job summary

Harrison School District 2 is seeking a Security Officer to patrol the interior and exterior of district facilities, confront unauthorized personnel, and identify security risks. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal police training, 0 - 2 years experience in security.
• Basic communication skills and military police training.
• Operating knowledge of portable radio/base station, surveillance video equipment, and still photography equipment preferred at hire.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License.
• First Aid/CPR Certification within three months of hire, and District van license must be obtained within six months of hire.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
• Criminal background check and District fingerprinting required.
