Job Description

The District is seeking a certified (Massachusetts) classroom teacher for the Leicester Elementary School, which serves grade 4. The successful candidate will be an educator knowledgeable about effective, standards-based practices for elementary classrooms.

Teach and instruct Grade 4 students

• Develop lesson plans aligned with the Massachusetts Frameworks.
• Teach using various methodologies, including whole group, small group, and hands-on experiences.
• Plan, develop, and utilize a variety of instructional materials and aids appropriate to the intellectual and instructional level of pupils from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds who possess a range of mental and emotional maturity.
