Job summary

Alloy Therapeutics in Athens, GA seeks an Associate Director of Antibody Discovery Programs to drive monoclonal and bispecific discovery efforts. You’ll oversee scientific strategy, engage with pharma and biotech collaborators, and lead communications across project lifecycles.

Reporting to the VP of Antibody Powered Division, you will mentor a diverse team and ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables while shaping project strategies with partners.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with 6+ years in early drug discovery and development, or a Master’s with 10+ years.
• Broad experience with antibody discovery and engineering.
• Strong design and optimization of antibody-based therapeutics.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work across US and international time zones.
• Willingness to travel ~10% and work on-site in Athens, GA.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific direction for antibody discovery and engineering campaigns.
• Drive major decisions, balance tradeoffs and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate execution and manage alliances and projects.
• Lead process improvement across ADS functional areas.
• Bring innovative scientific solutions to increase competitiveness.
• Mentor and inspire a cross-functional team of scientists.
