Northrop Grumman in Maryland is seeking an Antenna Test Software Engineer at either level 2 or 3 to advance software architecture for phased array testing and automate data analysis. You will lead cross-functional test teams and mentor junior engineers while shaping software requirements from product test needs.

Responsibilities include defining tests, developing plans, integrating software with hardware, and collaborating with design engineers. Clearance and US citizenship are required.

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.

Basic Qualifications for an Antenna Test Software Engineer 2:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline with 2+ Years of relevant experience; 0 Years with Masters
• Professional software development experience using languages such as MATLAB, C++, Python, etc.
• Current Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance to start.
• U.S. citizenship

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Antenna Test Software Engineer 3:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline with 5+ Years of relevant experience; 3+ Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD
• Professional software development experience using languages such as MATLAB, C++, Python, etc.
• Current Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance to start.
• U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
• Test software development experience in a nearfield and/or compact antenna range
• RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
• Familiarity with RF and antenna theory
• Professional software development experience using MATLAB
• Professional software architecture experience
• Professional leadership experience leading software teams through software development projects
• Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $163,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
