The Pennsylvania State University’s Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking Research and Development Undergraduate Engineer interns to join the Antennas, Computational Electromagnetics, and Propagation Department. You will work with faculty and staff on EM analyses and antenna modeling in a hands-on internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, Math, or Physics.
• Strong foundation in physics, math, and engineering.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, and EM tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EM and antenna analyses
• Modify and test EM propagation and antenna models
• Implement methods from published works for EM propagation and antennas
• Serve as active, hands‑on contributors of the ARL research staff.
